The Security Pole & Grab Bar by Standers combines a transfer pole with a grab bar to provide a secure support for standing or for transferring to a walker, wheelchair or other mobility device. The slim design of this transfer aid makes it ideal for transfers in tight spaces, such as allowing it to be installed between the bathtub and the toilet, placed at bedside, or next to a sofa or chair. The pivoting Curve Grab Bar has 4 hand grips at 4 different heights and locks in place at eight different points, every 45 degrees. The 4 vertical bars on the grab bar allow the user to gradually ‘climb’ to a standing position using a hand-over-hand technique. The main transfer pole has rubber pads on the top and bottom to protect the ceiling and floor. Included is the wrench needed for installation and no other tools are required for assembly.
